In 2006, the KARMA Foundation funded a memoir writing seminar at the Logan Township Library Branch of GCLS. Ms. Narcissa Weatherby taught the 6 week workshop attracting numerous writers from the community.
The Logan Library Writers Group held its first meeting on June 21, 2006. The original members were participants from the memoir writing seminar who were interested in growing their writing skills and sharing their work.
The group continues to grow and flourish with many of the original members and new members joining all the time.
