Riot

The up and coming band Paramore has recently come out with their sophomore album, Riot. Boasting their hit single “Misery Business” Paramore has caught a lot of people’s eyes, but the rest of the album is quite dreadful. Lead singer Haley Williams does a great job in singing all of the songs, good or bad (mostly bad). Riot is an album that lacks depth. When I listen to this CD I find myself skipping over most of the album. None of the songs on this album (maybe excluding “Misery Business” for some people) even come close to “Emergency” and “Pressure” from their debut album. Paramore is still a talented band though, so maybe give them three more years and a better producer and they might come out with a decent album.
