In a Vacuum

"A blonde was playing 'Trivial Pursuit' one night.  On her turn, she rolled the dice and she landedon 'Science and Nature'.  Her question was, 'If you are in a vacuum and someone calls your name, can you hear it?'  She thought for a time and then asked, 'Is the vacuum on or off?'"

Twenty-two children and eleven adults participated in are third annual Thanksgiving Festival held on November 22nd at Bethesda Hall.  Four middleschoolers and four teens ran the activities, including Thanksgiving colouring pages, necklace-making, pumpkin painting, garden scarecrow-making, game playing, and several Turkey crafts.  The morning ended with one of the teens reading a Thanksgiving story aloud.  This event is held annually and is sponsored by TAB.

Christmas Parade '08 Review

Eight youngsters and three teens marched in the annual Swedesboro Christmas Parade held in November.  The theme was "Keep Your Nose in a Book."  Most participants wore the funny nose & eyes glasses and carried books.  Some threw out candy to spectators, and two held the Teen Advisory Board's banner.  It was a perfect day for a parade.
