Summer Reading for Teens
Grab a reading log and start reading! All teen participants will be entered into a drawing for an Amazon gift card.
Teens can make a t-shirt on Wednesday, July 8th at 2 pm. Call 467-0111 to register.
Help make a pinata on Wednesday, July 22 & finish it on Wednesday, July 29th at 2 pm. Call 467-0111 to register.
Teen End-of-the-Summer-Reading party - Wednesday, August 5 at 2pm. The drawing will take place at this time and a book chat on the favorite reads. Call 467-0111 to register.
Join the Teen Advisory Board
Teens are welcome at any time to join the Swedesboro Teen Advisory Board:
- Be a Reading Buddy,
- write articles for the teen newsletter,
- Type the newsletter,
- Work on the teen blog,
- Help choose teen materials for the library to purchase - CD's, DVD's, books, etc.,
- Plan fun teen activities
- Help with Children's Summer Reading Program
- Volunteer time to do library work such as shelving books, making a bulletin board, cutting out materials for Story Time
